About Chronologue
Chronologue is an interactive timeline of everything humans have done — beginning with the first anatomically modern people around 300,000 BCE and running all the way to today. The timeline grows as people add to it.
How the timeline works
Deep history is enormous, so the timeline compresses distant time and expands recent time. As you zoom in, more events appear: at the widest view you see only world-changing moments and whole eras; at the closest view you see individual days.
Contributing
Anyone can submit an event — no account needed. Every submission is reviewed by a moderator before it appears on the public timeline, and good sources make approval much more likely.
